Performance
All iPhone 17 models, except the Pro variants, use the A19 chip built on a 3-nanometer process with 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU, including 8GB RAM. The Pro models are equipped with the improved and more powerful A19 Pro chip, delivering higher efficiency and performance gains, including advanced AI tasks and optimized thermal management. The A19 chip offers better graphics, system responsiveness, and machine learning capabilities.
An Apple-designed N1 networking chip enhances connectivity with support for 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Thread networking technology, and dual-frequency GPS. The iPhone 17 also supports eSIM technology in markets like the U.S., reducing the need for physical SIM cards.
Camera System
The iPhone 17 upgrades its camera system with a 48MP Fusion Main camera featuring a 2x optical-quality telephoto lens and a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera. The Ultra Wide sensor now offers four times the resolution of previous models, enabling better macro and wide-angle shots.
